IVA passed

After failing on Monday due to a few edges needing coving, height of lights and seatbelt spacers wrongly fitted. It passed the retest today at nottingham.

What an amazing feeling.

Went straight to the DVLA where a very helpfull lady took my paperwork and said a tax disc would be in the post next week.

Congratulations! - quick turn around for a re-test as well.

Which edges did you miss?

Headlight brackets, exhaust manifold hole, unused lambda boss and top ball joint. Also has to raise up the dominator headlights to meet visibility.

exhaust manifold hole around the bonnet? Any pics - mine's currently not 'edged' - I was hoping they'd let me do it at the test if it was needed.

Yeah the hole in the side panel. Only on one side where I'd cut a bit more away because it looked too close to the glowing blue hot pipe. Basically anywhere he can get his 100mm sphere into. I think I could of got away with trimming it there on Monday but with having to take the seats out to get to the bolts and spacers think I would have been struggling.

Well done. It was touch and go for a while but only simple fixes needed at the end of the day. What did you use to cover the top ball joints in the end? Mine are the same as yours and I will also be using Nottingham, so a picture would be very useful.

On the push rod? Think I got away with it due to it being within the wishbones
