You get what you pay for so it all depends what you want it for. I bought my wife a cheap tablet and its fine for a bit of Internet browsing and reading kindle books but is too slow for anything else.

Oh and it was £50 from carphone warehouse.

Bought my daught a nook she loves it.

The screen resolution is fantastic and app run smoothly and quickly. Also since the software update you do have access to googel play store which previously wasnt available.

I have a samsung Tab 2 which is quite a bit more but mine was a christmas present resolution is good quick and smooth operation.

I can recommend the Sumvision 7" cyclone on ebuyer for £75. It's fast and has 16gb storage. The only element lacking is bluetooth.

Got the kids a cheap tablet a year ago. Replaced it with an IPad each as it was pants. Im a big iPad fan - worth the extra cash IMHO. We have 3 in the house now (as well as 2 iphones, a macbookpro and an iMac - beware its a disease!!!!!)

Being totally honest - The whole Apple cross over isnt all that, but i do really rate the iPad's.
