Gasket remover

Hi All,

Any recommendations for products that remove old gaskets?

I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

I used Loctite Gasket Remover once and it worked well. You have to be really careful with it though as I got a couple of tiny spots on the paint and it discoloured it even though they were removed instantly. Left on it would have taken it off I think.

Soak in paraffin or petrol first, then use scraper as above

Nothing sharp. A bit of copper plumbing pipe hammered flat and sharpened on a grinder.
