Hi,

Windows Movie Maker accepts mp4 videos without any problem.

I was having problems with this on my Macbook and found that GoPro offer a free piece of software to convert and flip cut clips.

Works for me.

cineform is great but moviemaker has a few more editing tools and lot easier to use.

Cineform is really good as it tells you the frame rate, movie maker just says x1 x2 x4 x8 etc. If you watch my first ever video on you tube...here...

It was also the first time ive used any video software, if you watch the first 20 secs you will see a movie maker slow mo, which was very simple.
