Propshaft

Hello

I am changing the gearbox in my Westfield from a Type 3 to a Type Nine. I would like to keep the original propshaft but know that I have to change the yoke which fits onto the gearbox due to diameter and spline differences.

I have taken a photo of the existing propshaft below (its the blue one which I think is original Westfield Supplied Item)
Does anyone know if I can simply buy a yoke which will fit straight onto this shaft. I am quite capable of splitting the UJ and rebuilding it myself, just need to know where I can get hold of one.

The other propshaft in the photo came with the Type Nine gearbox so I assume its original Ford Cortina/Escort or similar, but it shows that the UJ yokes are much wider so not an option to use this one.

Thanks
James

It looks like you'll have to shorten the larger diameter propshaft.
