What do you think of L14 Led hamburgers
I have got a price of 47 quid each for the L14 12v led "hamburgers" as the trade call em.
What do you think guys.

I got a pair from Exeter show for £10, not LED though. They are now on my trailer!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

These have no lamps in them so you could set them well into the rear arches much like the crystal lights that scotlad and Mr speedy have.

Very nice, but try SVC. They had a pair at Newark that were LED based from (IIRC) Lucas (so e marked etc). They were tail, stop and indicator in one
unit but where white when off and looked really good.
I think they were £110 a pair. I've looked on their website but can't find them.

The only prob with the light are that the indicator does not load the flasher unit enough and so a dummy load is fitted. If the led's fail the
flasher unit flash rate does not change and therefore you are not alerted to a bulb fail as required by regulations. This may be an issue at sva. We
are currently fitting these to trailers that we work on and the advice seems to be that in the event of an accident there may be legal issues.By the
way i'm a newbie and think i def want to build a seven type motor possibly based on a tiger cat body. Many question to ask you guys probably.

You will need a balast resister to enable you to get the correct flashing rate when using the LED lights. These are obtainable from us @ sVc and
elswhere. Alt. get a flasher relay that is not load dependant.
Our "UltraBright" LED lights are "E" marked and - to date have passed SVA evey time.

Yes they work with both a ballast resistor and a non load flasher unit but if all tge led's fail (unlikely granted ) then you have no in cab
telltale to let you know of the failure. This is the point I was trying to make they are however very efficient and only use a fraction of the current
of a bulb and are rated at 100,000 hrs service life.

Also at night, if you drive erratically, you will look like an HGV!!!
