Oil Breather Hose

I need to add a catch tank and need to connect from the vent on my Duratec block as well as a take-off from the rocker cover.
What tubing should I use? Silicon hose seems a bit extravagant for the relatively long runs required.

Make sure you remove the ball bearing and spring from the Crank case breather too

I'd seen something on that but then read something after that seemed to contradict it.

The valve will not open due to not having a vacuum sucking on it, so the crank may over pressure.

Duratec breather valve.

Hi big vee twin,

Could you explain how to remove said valve from breather cover and how to remove the ball and spring from inside,

Cheers,

Hi Chris
Back to the original question i used silicone on the J15 but only because it looks nice and matched the other silicone runs ! on my Tiger i had clear pvc cheap as chips and you can see that its working and far more pliable to link up etc. Youll probably end up with more condensation in the tank than oil.

Your making progress then ?
