Leeds - To Do ??

Son moves into his new apartment in Leeds in the morning, and to avoid the IKEA house fussing Ive been given the morning off to do as I please.


Ive done the Armouries, what else is worth a look at in Leeds ??

Saltaire is a World Heritage Site within a short train ride.
Not sure there's much to do in this weather, nearby moors, canal, if that's your thing.
It ought to have a museum... Some nice buildings to look at.

You can park at or near Crossgates station for free, then it's a tenner return to York. I prefer this to paying fuel and parking in York.

However I would agree that the best thing to do in Leeds is a day trip to York!

If you should find yourself in Leeds on evening wondering where to eat, I would highly recommend going to Fuji Hiro. Japanese food without rival.
