FOR SALE ~ Polo Radiator Brand New

I have for sale a brand new VW polo radiator. It is still boxed and is in perfect new condition.

Only for sale as I am going down a different route with my engine and need a different rad.

This is probably the most common rad fitted to a Roadster

It is the 1992 spec 1.0 polo

I can provide pics if needed,

£30 posted or you can collect for £25

I'm located in Widnes Cheshire.

Hi

I am also interested in this depending in the core thickness.

Some are 22mm and others 32mm.
If its the 32mm then I will take it if Brett doesn't want it of course.

Cheers
Ian

Core is the 22mm one and mounting dimensions are as follows

It has mounting holes on both sides and lugs top and bottom which are 500mm apart

Thanks Ste

Unfortunately that's the same as I already have and am looking to upgrade so I will have to pass sorry

Most people wont have an issue with this size and to be honest I'm not sure I have either so you should easily sell it but I'm now pushing the limits on what is already a picky engine (Rover K) from a cooling point of view so need all the help I can get.

Good luck with the sale

Cheers
Ian

Sorry for the late response, it's too wide for me.

No. The size is fine. In fact I'm not sure if I could get anything wider in, may have a bit of room on the height but want to stay with the Polo rad as it fits my mountings and fan.
Its one that's thicker that I'm after.

There seems to be 2 sizes available, one 22mm thick and one 32mm thick. I currently have one that 22mm the same as Ste is selling.
Seems almost pot luck which one you get when you order new aftermarket ones.

It may not make a huge difference but want to give it a try anyway as they are relatively cheap.

If that doesn't work then its off to Radtec

That said. Would you mind measuring it for me and I may be interested if it fits. Please send U2U so we don't mess up Ste's thread.

Sorry for hijacking your for sale thread Ste.

Cheers
Ian
