Avon body and suspension coming soon

Hi all,

Would anyone here be interested if GTS Tuning was to provide wide track (with easy camber adjust) front suspension, to match the rear suspension width?

Also if we were to be offering Avon bodywork in the South East cheaper than Tiger?

Just trying to measure interest before finalising a few supply deals.

Kind regards,

Darren

I would, but you already know that.
I'll get the stuff you need sorted this weekend.

Cheers

Bodywork

Darren.

Let me get this right. You might be able to offer avon bodywork not only cheaper than tiger but potentially, better quality?
Would this include the removal of the discrepancy in the width of the rear arches and the lack of a decent lip on the bottom of the two sides for fixing etc?

Rob

Could be a winner to me.

Would the wishbones fit a book front end? What uprights would they take, Cortina or Sierra?

Hi all,

I will do whatever people want. Wide track, narrow track, cortina uprights or sierra uprights.

My supplier owns the moulds, purchased from Tiger, so legally i think we are ok on that front. But, as it is i'm just testing the water to guage what people would like, and any improvements they fancy.

I know there are a few issues with the bodywork in terms of quality and fit that we could address i'm sure.

Due to the number of positive responses in a short time i'll go away now and try and put everything into place.

Kind regards,

Darren

Tiger bodywork

Hi Daren.I don't supose your man has tiger b6 moulds. If so I would be very interested in a set of side and rear bodywork. Regards KIPPER

if your supplier owns the moulds purchased from Tiger then the body is going to be dimensionely wrong as is the body supplied by tiger....

I agree with Viper.
The mould is all to cock and is about as symetrical as my foot. The bonnet is also designed for a different car.
May be interested in front bones if they use the same shocks bearing in mind Tiger suplied everyone with the wrong ones and if the bones bolt on all the same fixings.
Perhaps a conversion kit with track rod end extensions would be the way forward?
Cheers,
Pat...

Darren, if the body was good i would even consider replacing the body already fitted. Would also like the front wider bones!

I'll post again soon, when i have sorted out the details of the supply. Sounds like it could be a winner though.

Kind regards,

Darren

Equal bones on the front would be very useful. Yesterday I had to pull right over in a narrow road to give way to oncomng car. Forgot back is wider and clonked the kerb!

not really just the muppet who fitted them(me!!!) put them too far forward. this meant the leading edge was too far forward and the wind flexed them onto the tyres and the trailing edge was too high ,which has the effect of covering the driver and passenger with whatever is on the road. so as im now off the road till the weather improves and the car goes through winter maintenance and de-svaing, its an ideal time to sort out all the bugs and mistakes. scott
