Small Headlights

Did anybody see the headlights on the newToniq R kitcar at Donnington show,I think they are 4 and 3/4 inch diameter.
Does anyone Know where I can get some from I think the make stamped on the glass lenses was Duco, also has anybody used these and passed sva with them? Want to fit them to my GT1 recessed into the wings if they will do the job.

Check out Premier Wiring here

They have some 110mm (that's about 4 1/2" ) diameter for about £75.

The newToniq R lights as shown seem to be a design exercise and use a domestic spotlight This is 12V halogen, designed to run through a transformer from mains power – generally 20w or 50 w.
They give a flood light.
When considering the other lights please make sure that they are designed for UK driving and dip to the left – some may dip to the right for continental driving – some are motor cycle lamps and dip centrally.

Steve,

Does SVC sell any kind of small road-legal light that can be fitted into a casing? I'm thinking of the sort of thing you'd find in the front of an Alfa Spyder or similar.

cheers,

David

David,
We stock the Hella 90 mm lights - these are main bean with or without side light and a separate light for dip. As with all Hella lights these are fully "E" marked.
I've been looking for UK road legal headlight lenses to take H4 Main & Dip bulbs for the 4 years I have been @ sVc. No go - now trying to get some made for us, but the light makers expect huge quantities before they will design them for us.
Just had a meeting with the Lighting Business Manager from Wipac. Asked if he knew anyone who made such a light and he said he would also be interested if I could find some - but his quantities, as our are far too small to justify the development and tooling.
There is only non UK legal types that do Main & Dip in the same lens - unless some one out there knows otherwise.......................
Regards
