Identifying Kent Cams

Hi guys,

Need a bit of help here! I recently bought some second hand cams off a well known auction site for my 2.0L Zetec blacktop. They are Kent cams and were listed as 'fast road' , but they have no part numbers on them. There is 'KC' and 'sportcam' cast into the shafts so I think they are definitely Kent items. I have compared them to my standard cams as we'll and they are a definite match. I just don't know what profile or spec they are. Any ideas?

I expect the kc and sport cam is just cast into the blanks, the grind will set the profile.

All you can really do is install and use a DTI gauge and measure the lift and duration then look it up.

Regards Mark

Hi Mark,

Yeah I pretty much thought that would be the answer - just wondered if there was a quick answer

Cheers

Pete
