Alt warning light on GSXR1000

Hi

Does anyone know how to wire one in?

Also is it a requirement for IVA?

Cheers

Ben

A lot of bike engines dont have the facility to do this, a quick way to tell is to look at the clocks on the original bike and see if they have one. I'm not sure if its something to do with the way they work on bikes as they work slightly different to car ones.

You could as an alternative wire in a voltage meter, or I suppose build a circuit that will display a warning light when the voltage level is too low.
