Gear linkage design

Hi all I have a Tiger Cat E1 with a 2.0 pinto mated to a type 9 box.

Here is a photo of the current extention linkage. It feels a bit sloppy and vauge as to which gear im in.

Would someone be able to tell me a way of getting slicker/crisper gear changes.

Many Thanks

I think its Rally designs that sell a type 9 extension just remove the gear stick and the big metal bung and bolt the new parts on
thats it in a nut shell
