Winter Pics

Well I took the car of for a few miles today, then persudaed my cousin to give me a hand polishing the car once I came back. I took some pics, and I'm sticking them up here - no good reason.
Usual disclaimers apply - apologies for the poor quality - I bough the camera from LIDL after all!!

It was a lovely clear cold dry day - I recently bought myself a Frank Thomas Aqua motorcycle jacket - 3/4 length cordura and it is fantastically warm and makes driving on days like this a joy. £85 clearence - down from £250. That and a windproof neck warmer job - excellent.
Here's to more high pressure!!

I know my exhaust is a disgrace, but it's not entirely my fault! I (orginally) ordered a full MK exhaust system, but initially only got the manifold from Bill Adair - by the time I needed (and then recieved) the silencer the design had changed, and I had to have a custom stainless piece knocked up. The upshot is I have 3 mismatched pieces of stainless steel, all having seen different amounts of wear and all therefore different colours. Ha ho. Still my passengers don't seem to notice as they all seem to be too busy praying .

I hope it stays dry for tomorrow, the car is going very well, and I wanna rack up some more miles.
Dry winter driving is brilliant.

Yep it's an MK 'double hump' aeroscreen. There wa s athread recently on these items - a few folks showed them fitted to their cars.
All the best

Fair play Jonte, that is indeed hard-core!! I dunno, but my Indy is as scary as hell on a wet, greasy road (just back from a run tonight), I cannot even imagine what it would be like in the snow/frost!!!

Come on now.

Put some tyre tracks behind the wheels Ali, or everyone will know you had it airlifted in for the photo.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
