Trailer wheels

At the weekends I run a wedding disco service.

My disco trailer has 400 x 8" wheels / tyres, is it possible to buy a wider tyre to fit on the wheel as I sink in the mud?

Thanks in advance

Graeme

Put on some quad wheels and tyres if you want to stay at 8"

Will classic mini wheels fit ?
i have a small trailer that had the same size wheels as yours and swapped them for mini but had to cut a small slot to miss the grease nipple

was wanting to go wider without going higher, as the trailer height is spot on, just this time of year if I touch grass I sink, and my main market is outdoor marque events.

might have to have a big change over in the spring.

quad tyres might work but think they might be taller will have to check.

You need to find your PCD, but most are 4 x 4"

then buy floatation wheels. if you can go to a trailer shop and check first as normally you need extended stub axles for floaties

these are the wheels and tyres you want, but they may rub on the trailer

20-5 x 8 -10 8 ply high speed wide floatation road tyre on 4"' pcd rim
