2004 LR Discovery for sale - ultimate winter / tow barge?

Advertised on behalf of a close friend.

2004 Land Rover Discovery TD5
Manual gearbox with the rare centre diff lock.
Java black with full black leather interior.
Full and detailed service and preventative maintenance history with invoices.
MOT Exp Oct 2015, 104k miles.

Chassis has been properly waxoyl'd twice and is in excellent condition. Usual D2 TD5 issues have been done i.e. rear air suspension bags changed, FPR replaced, leak free functioning twin sunroofs.

Condition is excellent, some age & mileage related marks but nothing major,

No dogs & non smoker.
No caravans or heavy towing been done.

He's asking £5950 for it but as he's got a company car on the way so is negotiable on the price.

Hi Dan,

Ha ha, such is things! Good job selling the Rad - Davie will enjoy it I'm sure I recognize your Avatar as well, well done on the purchase of that baby too - did you keep the same engine? It's a great car that one - George pushed me all the way to the Scottish Hillclimb title this year so it's no slouch but then he's a talented loon - we were separated by just a few hundredths on a couple of occasions this year, very enjoyable seasons racing

No Ross. Couldn't afford the car in that spec so it's getting a holeshot standard gsxr1000 put in for the 1100cc class down here.
Hopefully I'll get to grips with it as fast as I did the radical!
Your aware davie bought it then? I assume you'll be competing with him in class when the minis sorted?
I quite fancy doing a few events north of the border next year so keep me informed with what's going on and will see if it's an option or not!
