Motor bike front indicators

Hello,

I have a question about the use of motorbike indicators.
I like to use legal E-Marked LED indicator, the marks are:

11 12
(11 means front indicator and 12 means rear indicator) so it serves both positions.

E6 50R-000068

50R means motorbike indicator.

Now the question is:
Would these indicators accepted by the authorities during the SVA or IVA control???

I have seen at this forum some pictures with bike indicators, in general are those accepted?

Best regards,
Carlos

Yes, technically these are only approved as bike indicators (which are not the same spec as car), but UK IVA inspectors do not check the E-mark, they just have to ensure sufficient light output and visibility. Many (most?) people have passed with motorcycle indicators.

IVA in other countries may not accept these, as they are usually more strict and more likely to check for correct markings.

Hello,

Well that is some positive news.
I think that this is the correct way. Just control the correct position and the correct amount of light.

Probably, I would pass the IVA/SVA in the UK but other builders will need to pass in other country.

Thanks for your replay.

Best regards,
