What am I trying to describe or could this job

So with my car you need to pull the cars down, so i'm making a door card in that I want a little pocket to put your hand to pull it down.

Shape isn't important a lot, so round would be ok but oblong / rectangle better. It doesnt have to be a funny shape to store things in, its simply to pull down. like you would take a ceral packet rip the top off and be able to slide hand in (just not so deep.)

2nd part to it I obviously want to mount it onto the door card so will need a lip around it to be bonded on. Preferably black in colour though

thoughts....

I did wonder about a pull strap but wanted to spread out the stress of the pull a bit more as they are generally a one or two point fixing and the other way would spread it along an edge
