Just thought I would show of my car before the IVA.

No details just some 'mood shots'

Looks good.

Have you checked all your interior edge radii? Some instrument bezels can be iffy. Is the radius OK around the edge of the tub?
The harness top mounts look odd. Have you got a close up?
Labels for brake fluid, brake bias and makers plate done?

Instruments all 'IVA' at extra cost. Internal radius should be ok - but can be increased if it fails.
Seat belt mounts - let's see what the 'man' says. 8mm angle iron.
Brake fluid / balance bar stickers in place.

Never hurts to ask.

The inspector didn't even get his radius gauge out when I went to SVA. I asked him (after I had the MAC cert in my hand) why; He said one glance could tell him there was no point.

Are your front rockers spaced as far back as they'll go to help self centring? How easy are your h/light covers to remove if the aim need tweaking?

No date yet.
Seats should be IVA proof.
Windscreen is marked as required.
Front rockers are fully forwards - Checked with Steve at Fury sports cars this week for recommendation.
Headlight covers are flush everywhere except the rear edges. Easily removed with 4 alllen screws.

I will not cry if it fails. Just gives me a target list of things to do.

Please keep the suggestions coming. All welcome.

General points from my recent failed IVA:
*Tank has to be full but don't absolutely brim it. 90% would be fine. Otherwise when the returned fuel gets hot on the emmisions test it expands can overflow out the breather and make a puddle on the ground.
*If in doubt about the self centering effect a couple of turns of toe out on the tie rods will improve things with minimal effort.
*If you label any controls it must be permanent ie. not the print out sticky label.
*If you think it might fail for noise, try and quieten before the test otherwise you'll be going back for your retest hoping you quietened it enough but not 100% sure.

That gives you the least castor possible. More caster gives more self centring. I'd double check you haven't misunderstood Steve (or he misunderstood the question) and he meant all the SPACERS forward.

You're right to just see a fail as a definitive "fix list" and there's some things that are just about impossible to know are correct (emission/noise/brake balance) in advance.
