Can anyone recommend a company to fit a Flatshifter type system near Southampton? I would like Clutchless upshifts and downshifts with an auto blipper feature. very specialist that I know of seems to be miles away.

Can yo not have a go yourself? They really aren't very complicated at all,the hardest thing is making mounts for the actuator and blipper!

I've got the Flatshifter from Fltshifter.com and it works perfect. Easy install as well and no adjusment needed.

ditto the above, from memory, 1 wire to cut, power supply & earth everything else just plugs in, the bracket for the blipper been the only small fabrication job.

Wealden Engineering will do the job for you. www.wealdenengineer.co.uk They are the recommended installers and have done several. The last one was to sort out a Megabusa installed by the customer and then brought to them with a problem. Better to get it fitted properly. The blipper can be tricky to install so that it doesn't jam the throttle.

If it can't be fixed with a hammer then its probably an electrical problem.

I'm not the most mechanically minded of people (hence buying the car built) and also the very little time that I do get spare I'd rather be out in the car rather than working on it. I'll do some research on more local garages / fabricators and see what comes up.

I might order one then and have a go. I can then always go and get it fitted if I get stuck :-)

Any recommendations and make and model?

Currently been looking at the flatshifters but I know there are other manufacturers out there. It must have the autoblip option for the downshift

Flatshifter is good value for money and it works well. There are others but I think Flatshifter is the best.

If the geartronics kit is compatible then I'd buy the kit jeff Wiltshire is selling!
Geartronics are the leading manufacturer and comes with gear indicator too! Check the for sale ads and contact him. He's a helpful guy!

I'd strongly suggest you give Graham at Flatshifter a call. He's both knowledgeable and very helpful.
His Flatshifter system has worked very well on our Hayabusa powered J15.

The system was very easy to setup.
