I would be asking
What year is the car?

How many owners?

Looks like its ready for a set of tyres, so factor that in, not going to be cheap that size on 16" wheels.
Factory built on Q plate? De values it as Most Seights are standard plates my 1999 euro seight is on a T plate, most Westfield buyers want age related plates.
Aero screen fitted, so you cant use weather gear, does it come with weather gear and screen and wipers?, if not and you want it, factor in cost of fitting it not cheap even 2nd hand.
No front or rear anti roll bar fitted.
None standard rear arch covers fitted.
None standard steering wheel.
And those side rear view mirrors
No boot box because of the extra radiator fitted.
Poor ebay feedback.
But no doubt it will be a very quick car.

You know your Westfield's!

I only noticed the tyres.

What's none standard about the rear arches?

I did notice the car recently sold for c. £8500 on Piston heads, then came up on eBay two months later for £10,495 (after some engine work), then again on eBay for £10,995 (after gearbox work).

I think I will give it a miss, the seller didn't mention anything about gearbox issues when it was first advertised at £10,495 so I wonder what else he hasn't mentioned.

Its the rear arch stone chip protection covers that are none standard.
Also the Lt77 are weak gear boxes, you much better with the R380 or T5, the Lt77 is only good for around 240ftlbs of torque.
Mine has the R380 good for 300+bhp.

Hi There,

This is my car that i am selling on eBay, I am selling it in order to finish my MK Indy R which i've neglected over the past year.

I did have someone coming to collect the car a few weeks ago, however after cleaning it and taking it out for a brief drive the gearbox was crunching into third gear. Having stripped the box down it had stripped the teeth on the Input and layshaft.

I have since fitted a reconditioned box with 19A prefix, from a 3500 SD1 VDP. The car now drives better than it ever has done.

The tyres will need changing soon, something that I am willing to negotiate on.

As with a few of the SEights available on the market at the moment this is NOT touring spec with bootbox, full windscreen etc. However it would be very easy to re-fit all of these items as at some stage it has had full weather gear, bootbox and windscreen so all necessary wiring is there. Note SEights of "completely factory" specification with full weather gear are considerably more expensive, and seldom have an engine comparable to this...

All in all its a well sorted car, that is more than capable of going on long journeys and plods along very happily on the motorway or its equally at home blatting about the lanes.

Any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Nice looking car. That's some mindbogglingly long looking headers though!

Equal length 4-1 headers, much better than most you see...

Yeah I know what they are , just wondered what length they are as they seem very long in comparison with similar 4-1 solutions.
