Looks like an Austin Metro one.

Yes, Fury with Escort (or Sierra) uprights uses Metro ball joints.

Beware very early Metros used 2 different joints top/bottom and they're different taper sizes. The ones on the Fury are the same as the slightly later ones that were both the same... KitCarWorkshop even sent the wrong ones with my kit.

Thanks for the replies, my old wishbone has a larger taper and the new one I have is smaller, any clues as to the year or version I need?

I think the larger one is the one used on one end of the early and both ends of the slightly later Metro... My memory is a bit hazy though.

I might still have the "wrong" ones from my build somewhere.

It looks like its a 7-degree tapered ball joint but hard to tell for certain from the photo.

You can buy ball joint reamers.....but they all tend to be from USA and around $80.......I had one but lent it out and it got broke......I've not yet got round to replacing it as haven't needed one since.
