OT: Free hardcore (stop sniggering....)

Having had a bit of building work done i'm left with a fair size pile of rubble to dispose of, mostly red-bricks... So 'ideal for hardcore'...

Has anyone got experience of getting rid of this sort of stuff without having to pay for a skip? I.e. - is it worth me putting the effort into trying to get people to take it away for nowt? Or am I on a hiding to nothing...?

We, jokingly, suggested to a bloke at work with a load of old broken roof tiles to advertise on Loot (some years ago!) and someone collected it who was buidling a patio.. so worth a punt in freeads...at worst you'll have wasted 10 mins on the computor.

Join your local freecycle website, people are always asking for hardcore on my local group.

Any local farmers near you?

Most are always up for a bit of free rubble to repair muddy gateways etc.

There will undoubtedly be a Facebook buying selling and wanted forum / page for your local town. From observing some of the junk that people get excited about on there when the word free is mentioned you should have no difficulty getting rid but remember to say when it needs to be removed by other wise you might get messed about

I tried many avenues to get rid of approx 4msq and in the end had to get a skip. I had some messers on frrecycle. One lady wanted to come and collect it with her micra!!

120 quid and a good days graft saw the back of it.
