Tiger ERA HSS Rolling Chassis

Tiger ERA HSS Rolling Chassis

I bought this to start a bit of hill climbing, but a few changes recently mean I am unlikely to ever get the chance to finish it, and I can just focus on the Westfield! Everything is in good condition, and it comes in a really nice Gulf colour scheme. I'm down in East Sussex so if anyone is interested, they're more than welcome to come have a look.

What's included:
Complete rolling chassis with all bodywork, mirrors, steering (inc QR wheel), brakes, suspension, wheels, tyres, clutch M\C, gauges, switches, radiator, most cooling pipes, seat belt (out of date), fuel tank, fire extinguisher and plumbing (out of date), wiring loom (will depend on your setup), TIG ally oil catch and header tanks, battery tray, exhaust brackets to fit hewland mk9, custom made cover (needs new buckles), build manual. There may be a few other spares, but that is the mainstay.

Also included is a pair of GKN competition driveshafts, these were bought as a batch by another HSS owner, they are far better than the Tiger items which apparently shear if you're a bit heavy footed. They are brand new and still in their wrapping.

What you will need:
Engine
Gearbox
Carbs
Clutch Slave Cyclinder
Ignition
Exhaust
Few cooling pipes
CV joints (sierra outer, beetle inner)

Engine options:
Originally it was designed for a 1.8 or 2.0 Zetec with a Hewland Mk9 (this was the route I was going down). However Tiger have now started making these with and Audi 80 engine and gearbox, which would be a much cheaper option.

I'm just after what I paid for it all, which was £3200, might move a little on the price, but not by much.

Optional Extras:
1800 Silver top zetec. Not run since rebuild by Benchsound in Essex, unfortunately when they strapped it to the pallet they crushed the inlet on the water pump, so this could do with replacing (only £20-£30) after £400

Retro ford BDA rocker cover, this is a proper cast ally item, not something that clips over the original rocker cover. Has an AN fitting on the top for a breather, needs a new black top gasket after £250

Pair of 40 DCOE carbs, on a zetec manifold with throttle linkage, TPS sensor and nearly new K&N filters. These were jetted for a 2.0L Zetec £450

I'll try and sort out some better photos.

Hi, these are the only photos I have on me. If you would like anything in particular, I'll roll it out of the garage this weekend and photograph it.

Also forgot to add, it comes with oil cooler, remote filter and sandwich plate plus pipework. And a kill switch.

Thanks Charles

If you click on any of the pictures it will blow them up.

Price drop to £3000

Ideally would like it collected, but could arrange to have it delivered in the area.

This would be so tempting if I could find a way of getting it through an IVA test !

Just realised it needs leads and a oil cap which adds up to another £120. I'll pass.
