wifes galaxy

The wife has a T plate 2.3 galaxy that is out of test anyway I took it to do some work at the local diy workshop put it on the 4 poster to work out the suspension bang and narrowed it down to the arb bush again I digress

having a look underneath tha car I noticed that there is a significant hole at the front where the chassis member meets the inner sill and the seam on the sill is crushed and has been filling with rainwater and spilling into the drivers footwell

Anyway there is a fair amount of rust around the chassis member so this will need cutting out and repairing
The wife wants the car fixed as it has sentimental value for her

I have been looking for sill repair panels without any luck does anyone have any ideas or any sills lying about they want to sell

also need a new mig as my old old gave up the ghost

Buy a newer and different one, get the plates changed over and dont tell her.

She will be amazed at your handy skills and how much better it is after you have been over it. Especially if you give it a respray!

Call a breakers and ask them to cut a section out of a car that you can let in.

Other than that its get a flat sheet, cardboard templates and get forming the part yourself
