Sylva mojo info

Evening chaps,
As we all know one kit car isnt enough so ive acquired a sylva mojo....

Its got inboard shocks, a toyota 4age engine and a de-dion rear set up. This is about all i know but i think its an early one. Its in a state of disrepair, not road registered and doesnt have any bodywork... but i like a challenge!

My intentions are to fit a 20v 4age, full cage and make my own custom bodywork with the idea of competing in sprints hillclimbs!
Does anyone have any info/ specifications/ build diarys i can have a browse through? I will take aome pictures when possible as pics are always good!

Thanks, Mark.

Jpsc (jeremy Philips sports car club) would be a good place to start. Iirc a fair bit of the mojo is similar to the j15 and j16 chassis wise so if you like the seven look or the fury/phoenix look then there may be bodies you can modify to fit. For the latter search jenko on here for a tasyty looking car with a similar chassis.

Mojo SE is the slightly longer version and has the same chassis bar the outriggers as the J15. I believe the Fury Menace had a similar chassis. A modified J15 body could be made to fit or standard body on a lengthened wheelbase. Making your own body panels would be very time consuming, better to find something that already looks decent. Ebay sometimes has unfinished projects - e.g. here

Not sure about the menace as the engine was longitudinal and sat slight to the side of the driver with the passenger pushed forward. A bit like a toned down version of the mev atomic.

Another body that may be able to be made to fit is the pell Genesis or the spire gt but probably not as easy as the j15.

Thanks for the help/ advice guys.
I was flicking through an old cop of ckc the other day and your build diary was in there Jenko, a nice tidy build and a bit of inspiration.
Ive read through a couple of the posted build threads- lots of good info, cheers!

Re the bodywork- Ive done a bit of fibreglassing/ repairing on my previous project so im not averse to getting stuck in, but if I can find something that it roughly the right dimensions/ look then it makes life easier!

Ive finally got some pictures of the chassis as it is;

And help on what the uprights/ gearbox is would be great!

Cheers, Mark.
