Front Arch Help

Hi guys, im new to the roadster so not really sure what i can do with the following.

Im having problems with the front arch brackets on both sides. both have snapped, i had the brackets welded back together but 1 day later they snapped again.

is there a permanent fix for this available anywhere?

regards
dan

Hi mate I have a tiger and it too snaps the lugs all the time think solution is to rubber mount the wings it's the vibration that's kills them I think. Mind you the tiger is mounted with 2" 6mm bar it weighs a ton :-(

You should visit this site:-

http://www.lathyrus.eu/

It requires some lathe work, and isn't to everyone's taste. One day......

It doeant seem to be the vibration thats doing, my guess is the wind and bumps whilst driving it. Ill try the mounts but i like the look of tying it to the outer side of the wheel as shown in that link.

What you need is some 25mm x 5mm steel bar,

that's what ive had on my car since 1998, never broken never given me any hassle, and have ever only had a couple of coats of black gloss on them

pics in my photo archive would help

The bracket needs to be one piece, no welding as in a big U from the bottom mount with a lugs welded on.

That make sense?
