Camshaft break in with previous REMAP
When I install the new cams I have to break it in instantly. I think it's a series of 15-20 minutes at around 2500rpm.
It's a new build so before I can get it to the garage for a remap on dyno is it okay to run it on the map I have on to break in the cams.
It's a mild 264/264 cam.

This should not be a problem
Use cam bedding in oil or graphogen don't let the engine idle just run at 2500 and if the engine gets hot switch off until cool enough to run
the engine again, you can do it in 10 min intervals if that suits

So what ever happens (for instance notice something else wrong i.e oil or coolant leak or even bad sound) JUST switch it off instant and it
won't harm the cam break in procedure. sounds good okay.

Double check all coolant hose's, Clips etc and make sure there are no oil leaks or water leaks before you start
Use plenty of lube
Breaking the cams in will create some noise so don't do it early on a Sunday morning or Late at night unless you live in the middle of nowhere
