A Favour Please? New Website

Morning gents,

A favour if you could please, we've just had a massive upgrade on our website, one improvement/benefit for you guys, the customers, is that our brake hoses are now priced on a sliding scale for length rather than jumping by £2.95 each 0.5m increase, the effect that this has is that most hoses for 7's & similar will probably be around a £1 or so cheaper

We've been thro' the site as thoroughly as reasonably possible & I believe we've eliminated the vast majority of errors on the data swapover, but I doubt we've got every single one.

The favour? If a few of you could have a browse thro' the site, perhaps have a play with the brake hose making section to see if you have any problems or difficulty using it & please let me know either on here, by u2u or email if you spot anything untoward. Not asking anyone to buy anything & in fact if there was anything you wanted still best to call us as we can always offer a discount for phone orders from LCB'ers

web address is still the same at www.furoreproducts.co.uk

Merry Xmas to one & all!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Had a go with the brake hose section. Straightforward and worked fine. Took just a few minutes to add all the bits I wanted to the basket. One question though. Do your banjo fittings come with copper washers? One would assume they do but it's not stated anywhere as far as I can see.

They do, definitely used to be on the old site I will check - this is just the sort of thing we're looking for - thanks!

When I first load the page the price flashes at me multiple times for around 25 seconds. Looks very odd. It appears to occur whilst the options are loading. This is in Chrome Version 47.0.2526.73 (64-bit) on a Mac. It also occurs when I change one of the options in the Union boxes. 3 flashes after each change before settling down. I also got a few issues with other pages/images you're referencing:

The 3 flashes on the brake hose is normal, I think it's something to do with it checking for whether the added item affects price etc.

The price flashing, for 25 secs I've certainly not seen, & I wouldn't know about the FB stuff, but will refer it to my web man, many thanks for the thorough report!

Is it possible to get straight male swivel ends? It's listed as one of the options for the female swivel ends (straight + 2 bends) but the male swivel only lists the 2 bend options...

Yes, they start out straight b4 we bend them in house! It's a simple omission & again just the sort of thing we need to know about, could have taken a while before we realised, should be sorted shortly, it's something I don't have access to as the brake hose stuff is all bespoke to our site

Edited to say, now sorted, my web bloke doesn't hang about!
