H BEAM Rods

I've been offered a set of h beam conrods that are already made to size -ISH.

Small end width.: I measured 19.98mm on my oem conrods.

The new h beam size show 19.9mm on ebay.

The 19.98 I measured with a electrical readying ruler. I pushed hard on it aswell.

Can 0.8mm make a difference?

Mostly yes
Is the gudgon pin interference fit i.e. Fixed in he rod
Or
Loose got with cyclops in the piston
You can team a smaller little end bush to take a larger gudgon pin but you should not fit a loose gudgon pin or you get little end knock
You need to measure with proper accurate internal and external gauges to a thou of an inch do pin in piston and pin in rod little end are within tolerance

I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)

Don't you just love predictive text!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

lol.

I don't think I explained it well.
The gudgeon piin will be same size with correct bush.
The small end size sliding into the piston and the pin going straight through.

It's the width of the rod when it slides into the piston which could be half a mm narrower.

But I suppose the force is going up and down.

edit: getting confused now. 19.9mm to 19.98mm

Russ I think you'll find that the predictive text version is with 10% of what it should be and therefore completely within the spelling and grammar specifications as advertised on my other sites.

Whilst we endeavour to be as accurate as possible due to manufacturing tolerances my post may be considered utter b**|+€ks
