ST170 Tuning Map

Hi,

I need to see an after market ECU map for the ST170... I don't want the data file - I just need to see the actual values in the table.. usual type of thing RPM vs. TPS (advance).

Ideally, it needs to be for an ST170 with VVC removed and stock cams.

If anyone can help that would be great.

Supplementary question - with the ST170 VVC, at what RPM does it "cut-in" and start to advance the cam timing ??

Cheers

If it has no vvc then have you locked the stock cams? I'm not actually sure there is any benefit from doing that.

Also the vvc doesn't "cut in" it's constantly variable.

Most people either upgrade to cat cams or run a vvc controller separate from the ecu.

Finding a map suitable for your set up may not be an easy task.

What ECU are you using?
There are a host of variables which aftermarket ECUs require tables/corrections for and they all have different software. A basic advance/rpm/injection map is not very useful by itself.

There is a thread on turbosport forum with the timings for the VCT if your interested. I doesnt move a lot when in use and it never runs at max advance or minimum advance.
