J15 Moves without me pushing it !
After connecting my g/box and engine 3 years ago it finally drove 150 metres last friday and i can confirm that 1st and reverse are trouble free in
the second hand g/box.
I will be on the road next
The car is now at the "fettling stage" and may be ready for IVA in the summer

Thanks
Dont think it will be ready for Stoneleigh but u never know
Its those little jobs like trying to make the shut lines a litttle neater, calibrating the ETB digidash, daytime running lights, immobilizer (dodgy
steering lock repaired with angle grinder), rear cooling vents, (bought a nice vent from CBS for the cat but the headers are the real problem) remove
exhaust to try and increase a 1mm gap between collector weld and chassis round cross tube, chopped the exhaust tail pipe to increase boot opening but
i now need to re-attach, pedal space is very very tight brake and throttle and very little space to move those pedals.
I will probably try Nottingham for IVA as they have a good reputation on this forum i used Beverley last time which is a lovely 180 miles round trip
across the Lincolnshire Wolds but i want to get on the road now im close to completion.
Forgot to mention that 50m of the 150m test run was the 9 point turn at the end of the garages due to 15 x 7 wheels, no power steering even though i
did fit a quick rack !
If i tried to put photos up it would take longer than the build !
