Front end alignment on a Book Build locost 7
OK, help a poor old guy out. I want to have my front end aligned by a professional. No I do not want to do it myself (long story). What specs do I
tell the shop to align it to? I'm starting to get some wear on the inside of both front tires. I do not race my car or do track days but I do do
spirted drives on the street. The spindles are British Ford Escort (just like in the book). Thanks, Russ

Westfield settings will be fine
Front Ride Height - 160mm
Rear Ride Height - 170 to 175mm
Front Tracking - 0.5 to 1.0mm Toe In
Rear Tracking - 0.5 to 1.0mm Toe In
Front Camber - 1.5 to 2.0 Degrees Negative
Rear Camber - 1.0 Degrees Negative
You want 5-7 degrees caster to self centre correctly.
If a live rear axle then you bend with heat or run a bead of weld which will draw the axle tube towards it.

If you are driving the car gently with little hard cornering to reduce the wear on the inside edges of the front tyres set camber nearer to vertical
say -0.5 to -1.5 degrees
