Minimum instrumentation required for IVA
Hi all
My Haynes Roadster is finally nearing completion after a long 8 year slog (!)
My long term plan is to design/build my own digi-dash, however short term I just want to get through the IVA and get on the road!
What is the bare minimum required for the IVA? Speedo and warning lights? I've had a flick through the manual but can't seem to find the
info
Thanks
Josh

From memory it would be
Speedo
Indicators
Sidelights (can be back light of dash)
Dipped head lights
Full beam
Rear fog light
Low brake fluid/handbrake
Fuel gauge

I thought...
Speepo (in MPH, must illuminate when lights on)
Indicators
Hazard (can be indicators and think switch must illuminate)
Lights (illuminated dash will sufice. might have to be seperate dip but didn't used to be)
Main beam
Rear Fog (with correct symbol on illuminated surface)
Low brake fluid (with test switch so usually combined with h/brake(not a requirement))
Reverse if light on manual switch.
All controls labled.

Brilliant, thanks. No need for a odometer?

Indicator warning isnt needed if driver can see them from seated position.
Also, head light warning isnt required, only main beam.
