Could you use the 20v inlet manifold? They have itb's from the factory. Though in saying that, it maybe easier to find some rocking horse poop!

Do you have a t50 gearbox that needs rebuilding? There is a chap on ebay based in Australia who does a comprehensive rebuild kit, also can supply you a mixture of what you need. I purchased a set of synchros for my late t50 last year. As for a whole gearbox keep looking as they do appear once in a blue moon! I managed to find a steal on ebay earlier this year. Another one popped up on ebay last week, think it went for close to £300. They are becoming very rare so may not be a locost option, But a real good gearbox.

Thanks for the heads up, I think the gearbox may well need looking at, I was told it had a suspect 3rd syncro, I saw the one on ebay last week, probably went for good money as it was set up to bolt straight into a minor, I also have seen a kit in the states for reasonable money BK176 WS BEARING KIT TOYOTA COROLLA W/SPLIT*T50* CASE 5SPD 1973-81 W/SYNCHROS

To my shame I threw out 2 T50s about 10 years ago, they came as a job lot of toyota gearboxes, 2 of which were supra w58s and one turbo box, I took the two T50s up the tip, considering, at the time I was running a 320hp, 340ftlb v8 the split cases never stood a chance

Can't believe you threw 2 t50's out anyway the kit you mention is for an early g/box. for some reason the kit is cheaper but is different so make sure you know what type you have. count the teeth on the output shaft, think later ones have 21 iirc. If you are thinking of rebuild the box yourself, make sure you have a decent puller set I used a genuine toyota service set that I have regular use of. Its a fairly simple strip down being toyota, but be aware that the synchro hubs can be very tight and easy to break.

Hi.

I have a new t50 gearbox mount (made my own in the end due to space limitations)

And a contact in Poland with at least one t50...

Don't forget you also need;
Slave cylinder and rod
Lever
Bearing springs
Lever pivot
Release bearing
Bolts !
Gear lever and housing
Propshaft yoke (the hardest part to find !)
Speedo cable or electronic speedo sender

-----

I have some other bits but bundled (won't split):
4age (good known big port 7rib engine with Internet history with light porting)
Machined smooth cam covers in ford rs blue
With rwd water pump and rear housing
Tubular exhaust manifold
Weber inlet Manifold

Sorry to jump in but I notice there's some DCOE manifolds kicking about...

I could be interested in a manifold suitable for 45mm DCOE (Jenveys) to big port 16v head if anyone has one going spare?

Cheers, Russ.

(Also looking for 288 cams)
