Roll bar camera mount still wanted

Since my last thread a few months ago I'm yet to decide on a roll hoop mount for my GoPro.
Anyone got any ideas on a nice light solution?
I've seem the manfrotto clamps and the standard GoPro ones but unsure which would do the job best! Any ideas welcome

How about a thin strip of ali bent around the tube? Then bolt the go pro to that.

GoPro one seems to work perfectly well.

Do you not find it a bit flimsy? I had one on my radical and slothough it never failed it had a serious bend in it!

I use an exhaust clamp and a piece of flat alloy then stick a go pro mount to that. Possibly not the lightest but never lost a camera either.

How about this.....

Most of the similar ones have the camera mounted inline with the bar, this one is the correct orientation (well it is in the picture!)

I use a cheaply eBay job, and as long as i don't extend the arms too far, it seems quite robust. I don't trust any of them though!

These do some decent mounts.

A couple of friends use the easy roll cage mount. Secured using two jubilee clips. Small, tough and wobble free.

Snap! I use that too. Simple, strong, rock solid, and most of all, cheap!

Manfrotto super clamp & GoPro works for me, very very stable.
Well worth the £25 i paid for it.
New ones on the e-auction site for £15, but you'd need the camera stud too for another £6.50.

I broke my original GoPro tube clamp, prob due to vibration/overtightening but was lucky the camera fell into the car.
