Advice needed, Air box or open filter on TB's

As the title says. I will be running throttle bodies on my zetec and am looking at open sausage filters or possibly an airbox (ram), other than an aditional cost what are the benifits if any of an airbox.

What are people running?

With the tightening noise restrictions on track it has to be a well constructed airbox.

Considering i got kicked off a track day for noise and knowing the TB are bloody noisey i would say air box. The difference in performance will be zero





Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!
