Very nice - can't drive currently, but I wouldn't be upset if I had to have one.

Best of luck with the sale.

My boss is a devout follower of bangernomics when it comes to motoring. His aged A4 recently died at approx 240k miles so he bought another petrol A4 and will drive it until it can't go no more.

It's an admirable trait given he could afford something nice - we have to tell him not to moan

I'm seriously considering an s4 when my current lease is up in 10 months. It will need to be the cheap tax v8 as yours is or the newer v6 model. Yours looks ideal just a bit early!!

I've never owned a v8 so I've got to tick it off at some point. Can I ask what the real world mpg you get out of it?

I've just dropped the price a little as i've seen an RS4 i want.. 6k!

Regarding the MPG , it is surprisingly good. I had the previous B5 S4 before this and that was worse on fuel.

The long term AVG is 22mpg - mixture of town and brisk drives.

When i drove back from Scotland i averaged 28mpg over 400 miles and did have it above 30 whilst sitting at 65.

Obviously if you hoon around lots it will be mid teens.

Thanks

IMHO you don't buy and drive this car for it's MPG, you live with the cost knowing it when you buy it.

Fully with you. But If buying best to have an idea of the facts first. I can't remember the last time I had a car that would consistently achieve 35mpg.

Anyway have a free bump!!
