Lancia A112 Abarth R1

HI!! This is a older projekt (before the T42 trike).
I bought a Lancia A112 Abarth LadyCup race car because I "just had to" find out how it would feel to drive a small car (550kg) with a motorcycle engine... Frontmounted engine and frontwheeldrive.
Yamaha YZF 1000R1 -01 engine (152bhp)..
Rims: Compmotive ML 7x13"
Tyres: Yokohama A032R 185/60x13 racingtyres.

When I bought it- it looked like this.

This is the 190mm sprocket axel- Mounted on the pinjon on the BMW 323 LSD diff.

I had to make a new fiberglass hood because the Yamaha R1 engine is very high.

Engine apartment!! Note the BMW diff in the bottom. The red "rod" is the gearchanger "push/pull".

New paint (even inside) and stickers.
This is the first performance test on Midlanda motorpark in the middle of Sweden. My time was 1,08. (my first time at the track). A friend have a Porsche 993twinturbo 4wd -95 ">400bhp", he drowe on 1.09!!!!!!!!!!! A fast little thing!!
