Lisbon for late aututumn break ?

In a few weeks I am off for the annual summer trip to Italy (life is tough) so now planning late autumn break and considering Lisbon has anybody done a Lisbon holiday/city break ? Is the weather mild in late September-early October ?

Have been there in march, bit chilly but lovely place, lots of interesting bits to see. imagine sept time would be very nice. Could send some pictures if you want any.

Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

I was there last November and it was still pleasantly warm during the day, but not t shirt weather in the evening.

Been to Portugal (Algarve) many times and September/October is still sit outside weather during the day. Colder at night, but still very pleasant.

Not been to Lisbon, but others I know have rated it well. I'd say go-ahead and enjoy it.

I normally head to Albafuiera, bit further South, and spend September there. Great place, if I was younger I'd stay there. Great climate and great people.

Went 2 years ago for birthday beginning of December and got sunburnt!

Locals were in hats and gloves and I was looking out the window in the morning thinking Shorts and T shirt or Trousers ans T shirt!?

Lovely city and fiendly folk.
Get a rail pass thing for the trams and funiculars, great place, I'd go back for sure.
