Removing a rubber hose

I'm trying to change my water pump, and I can't shift the main input hose

I can twist it about 45 degrees along its axis and the end shows no sign of moving. I'm concerned about damaging it as I don't have a spare. Any ideas/techniques for shifting it?

Regards,
David

Pour boiling water over then get smooth hook of one of the angled pry bars under the end.
