I'm travelling up Friday morn.

And have got my fingers crossed for a dry/dryish day,the weather is awful here and over North Wales today

Showing rain all day now for Anglesey

If the forecast is not looking better tomoz I'm prob going to take my VRS rather than the kit car I'm afraid

I've seen the forecast for Anglesey the day before be totally wrong. Couple of years ago, a day I did was forecast 100% rain all day.. it was 100% dry all day.

I've also had a proper wet day since that one, when it rains there, it tends to go sideways!
I was actually in the tent in the opening scene in this vid.

That looks like quite a nice place to be sat with a full screen and roof

My car with just a aero screen is not a nice place to be in the rain!

This was a pal on the same day. Definitely sideways rain at the top of the hill!

Is the weather looking slightly better for tomorrow? dry morning? or am I just being optimistic?

I'm not going to get away till about 4pm, so it might be a wet old affair putting up a tent. Should be there between 8 and 9 at a guess.

Had a good day today. Perfect weather in the morning and managed to play around the showers in the afternoon. No need for wet tyres all day.

Not a good night in the tent again, and a crap drive home , M6 was awful.. nigh on four and half hours, but worth it.

Didn't have a nosey at the cars in pits,what suspension do you run and hoping you were on slicks the way you were passing me!

Suspension is nothing special, standard Westfield supplied 16 year old avo's all round. Live axle.. no arb's, and yes, big fat sticky slicks definitely make a difference.
