2.0 Pinto to 4 age 20v swap

I currently run a 2.0 injection pinto in my 7 and i am considering swapping it for a 4 age 20v. Would i see a great difference in performance?
It seems that both engines have a similar torque output.

I'd imagine the 4AGE is lighter and will rev more freely so you should see a little more go in it.

I would think you would see a difference. My stock 4age 20v is 150bhp 150 lbft. It delivers that very smoothly through modern management VVT and ITBs.

If I was on a track day and spotted a xflow I would expect to be beat xflows, as i would most zetecs.

I don't know if it is just the engine, the chassis or my excited driving, but my car seems to always punch well above its weight.

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!
