Heat management

I was overcooling a wee bit on the westy so took off the oil to air cooler and fitted a cossie modine. That was Feb.

I got back to UK, took it out (was hot) and it was getting a bit hot - 95/100.

So i refitted the oil to air and on a cool night its a bit cool - 75/80.

Setup is a davies craig water pump, 2 row polo alloy rad. no heater on a 270hp duratec.

Any ideas on what is best? im thinking back to modine and a 3 core rad - but before i throw cash at it - thought id ask.

Do you have an oil stat in the feed hose to the cooler?

This would be my first simple change before removing stuff.

Oil Stat --- really essential with an oil cooler

95/100 is normal for a Duratec.

Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

Yep, the Jag engine runs at this temp range, along with most modern engines.
