Ported ST170 Head
I have for sale an ST170 head that has been ported, polished(professionally) and skimmed. It’s done no miles since being done but has been fitted, run
a number of times and removed.
I had it done for the engine in my car, then swapped the engine to a lower mileage unit that I got a good deal on and the plan was to fit this to the
new engine. However the car isn’t even on the road yet and with a second child on the way I know it’s just going to sit on a shelf for 2+ years before
I even get to think about using it.
The exhaust and inlet ports have been enlarged, I was going to make up new manifolds to get the best from this. I can’t tell you what sort of power
gains you are likely to see – but I would imagine with a matching set of manifolds they would be significant.
