little things by drivers that really irritate you

Apart from not cancelling an indicator, what small things done by other drivers irritate you?

I'll start off with having the rear window wiper running when there is no rain.

People on an empty duel carriage way who don't pull into the other lane when your coming down the slip road so you have to slow down to a stop before joining.

People who drive down the empty motorway or dual cabbageway, coming the other way, with full beam on because there's no one "in front" of them.

Worse still, people who turn their lights down on normal roads, then get to **almost** past you, but not quite, and full beam you at point blank range as they pass, because a nanosecond more of darker road is unbearable.

People who twat your car in a car park then leave a blank piece of paper under your wipers to give witnesses the impression you're leaving details.

Arriving at roundabout, to be confronted by car coming from left, driven by young "gentleman" (ahem!), who glares at you, then drives right across yer front end.

"Always give way to traffic coming from your right.." - I b****y wish!!

People that follow so close when you indicate to turn left (usually looking at phone) 150 yards from the junction then jump on the horn when you slow down to turn, how much more warning do you want? Rear bull bar now added to van that looks like a pair of steps made from 50x25x3mm still fancy your chances??

Drivers who join the By-Pass up the slip road but only getting up to 50 mph
because they are going to turn off again in half a mile

+1 for the baby/little princess on board signs. Why do I need to know this? Do they think that I was about to deliberately crash into them but am now reconsidering my options because of the sign, or are they trying to prove to me that they are virile - I don't care! The original reason for them was to say that there was more than one person in the car and therefore that they could use the multiple occupants only lanes.

The other one is people with their rear fog lights on when it's not foggy.

People who drive ar 45 mph - everywhere - built up areas, open roads, dual carriageways, everywhere

Usually a Nissan Micra but of late the Honda Jazz has joined the club.

Get lots of them round my way - 40mph on the open and clear 60mph bit, then carrying on at 40mph through the narrow and twisty village instead of slowing to 30.

Or the car that's right on my tail when I'm doing the 30mph speed limit, as if they're keen for me to go faster, but then stay at 30-ish when I accelerate at the next NSL sign.

Even worse when they're in front of you and you're stuck at 40mph for the entire duration of a decent bit of road, then see them maintain the speed through villages where 20-25 is probably more appropriate.

Oh, and on the subject of speed limits, the bureaucrats who have decided to make all the local dual carriageways 50 and single roads 40, despite them being perfectly safe at the national speed limits for god knows how many years. All it does is get people exceeding the speed limit.

Ah, you asked for driver bad habits, sorry. How about fog lights on for at least three days after a slightly misty morning?

People who pull in from side streets late enough to force me to brake to avoid them and then they accelerate painfully slowly and travel at <60% of the speed limit.

In a national speed limit road, the que of cars behind a slower moving vehicle that have no intention of doing an overtake leave no space for anybody else to make safe passes without doing the whole que in one go.

Narrow city streets that only allow one car down at a time. You get 3/4 of the way down then another car comes from the other way with nowhere to go.
Every day, multiple times a day Grrrrrr!.

Speed humps, they make you concentrate on the humps and not what is going on elsewhere.
Speed humps, they ruin my kit and any lardy passengers have to get out.

Mini islands.... They are fine, but 50% of motorists are confused

School runs

Headlights angled high

people who think they have the right of way when their lane ends

In fact everything
