I advertised an omega seamaster on ebay about 10 years ago, it was a good fake with all the docs and box, I never said it was fake, similarly never said it was real, I answered all questions honestly, it got to 700 quid and I bricked myself and cancelled the auction.

I wore it for about 3 years then the strap broke when I was in the sea in Australia. ......the sea master was no longer!

I did consider an insurance claim but thought better of it!
