For Sale Fisher Fury

A real sad day but I need the cash and space for bigger plans! It doesn't get the justice of being used.

Im going to stick it on Pistonheads and maybe ebay.

On to the car:

2001 FURY IRS which I've owned for the last 6 years , it's been ever reliable and a pleasure to own.
Registered on an age related plate, currently SORN as its only been on a few track days in the last couple of years and I just dont have the time to MOT it and use it on the road, last MOT was 2014 and passed without any issues at all. Oil changed maybe 200 miles ago. Garaged all year round.
Now it has been used so does have a few scuffs ,marks etc but the paint job is lovely! :-)

Standard 2.0 Silvertop Zetec running Megajolt and ZX6 Mikuni carbs by Chester Sports Cars.
Setup at Northampton Motorsport and made 165 BHP.
Standard Type 9 box, no rattles whines or leaks. Clutch done 3000 miles ago.
3.62 open diff , push-in shafts.
Suspension geometry setup at Pro-comp ,Spax RSX dampers.
15" Team Dynamics pro race 1.2 with Toyo R888 all round with great tread left.
Wilwood front calipers, Mintex 1144 pads.
Standard Sierra rear drums regularly serviced ( no build up of dust ) These brake perfectly and so I've just never felt it needs discs.
Braided hoses all round. Dual brake cylinders, Bias bar and on dash adjustment .
Petty strut included ,braces roll bar to corner of passenger footwell.
Silencer re-packed a couple of hundred miles ago with Acoustafil and I get around the 94db mark.
Alloy catch tank
Alloy expansion tank
Silicon hoses throughout.
Steering rack bushes recently changed with new UV joints.
Full screen ( always preferred the safety factor and not having to wear a helmet )
All lights, wipers etc work as they should, washer bottle removed but included.

I have some spares and various items like carpet , start motor, coil pack etc.
I've probably missed something so do ask.
Viewings are welcome.

Im asking £6250 ono.

Nooooo. If I did not have the Anglia I would have it back in an instant. You have made a lot of good improvements. GLWTS.

Just to add a small bit of info, the engine had only done 3000 miles when the car was built, came from a dealer demo '97 mondeo that someone had taken for a test drive and managed to roll it !!!!! So basically a brand new engine not a 100k mile smoke machine.

it is indeed a tough decision to part with what in only a few drives becomes so much more than a car,. GLWTS,. it is a beautiful example of the Fury,.

Sad day, do you have another project planned ? If the new owner needs any build info then I still have all of the pictures etc. if they want them.
