ecu

hi all

another budget question cheapest ecu

been looking at a duratec swap and have been told that if i were to use the standard loom would have to basically be the entire loom

a friend suggested using a early 1.8 zetec escort as has less wiring

my question is how much would a ecu / wiring be for a duratec just to get it runing and usable daily not after anything performance just cheap and cheerful

cheers ed

You don't need the whole car loom but there are around twice the amount of sensors compared to an aftermarket ecu.
